Conversations with Healers, Helpers, & Guides: Understanding Your Psychic & Intuitive Availabilities with Kat Rose Blume

Conversations with Helpers, Healers, and Guides is a monthly blog series from Holistic Healing and Wellness with Sabrina LLC with the intention of sparking conversation with other wellness professionals to share perspectives on different ways mind, body, spirit health can be supported.

Today, we are talking with Kat Rose Blume, a dear friend who is a psychic medium and mentor. She helps clients align with their intuition by empowering their journey with knowledge, tools & guidance. I have personally received readings from her and she has been instrumental in my journey. Her energy feels safe, nurturing, and expansive.

Sabrina: Tell us who you are, where you practice, and what you specialize in.

Kat: I’m a Psychic Medium & Intuition Development Mentor. I help people develop their intuition & psychic abilities.

Sabrina: What led you to specialize in intuition development and psychic gifts?

Kat: I wanted to help others find their own voice and realize they too have these abilities, we all do!

Sabrina: How do you define intuition, and why do you believe it's essential for personal growth and well-being?

Kat: That’s the beauty of it! It’s not ONE thing and it can feel so different for so many of us. I never resonated with other’s definition of what intuition was supposed to be. It never felt true for me and I knew it wasn’t for others either.

Sabrina: In your practice, how do you see the mind, body, and spirit interconnected when it comes to intuition development?

Kat: It’s all connected! That’s what makes my methods so different. I don’t just resort to spirituality & occult studies. We deep dive into our subconscious, we understand our why’s, we learn to listen to our bodies & address what our spirit is communicating to us. You develop your very own intuitive language.

Sabrina: Are there specific practices or techniques you recommend to clients to integrate mind, body, and spirit for overall well-being?

Kat: Definitely, stop attempting to mold or adapt to others  definitions or realities and focus on discovering yours.

Sabrina: How can intuition development contribute to managing stress, anxiety, or other mental health challenges?

Kat: I would dare say that learning to trust yourself is the answer to most of it but it takes work and that’s where the magic and healing happens!

Sabrina: What practical tips do you offer for individuals to integrate intuition development into their daily routines?

Kat: Get curious, don’t assume it’s your mind or that you’re overthinking. Take the risk of being wrong and get comfortable with it. You’ll start to see what you were picking up on.

Sabrina: What are some common misconceptions people have about intuition and psychic gifts? How do you address it?

Kat: Everyone seems to think intuition is this quiet inner knowing but in reality, unless you’re someone who is not living in survival mode, who knows how to soothe their nervous system and has been able to identify what their anxious voices are, that won’t apply to you for a long time and even then, I’ve had plenty of crazy intense psychic visions that were not calm and did not resemble a soothing inner knowing. Shadow work and intuition development exercises when your nervous system is relaxed and feels safe. In my experience, that’s been the most effective in helping clients identify which is their intuitive voice.

Sabrina: What changes have you witnessed in individuals as they embrace and nurture their intuitive abilities?

Kat: I can see the difference in my clients self-esteem. They accept themselves more and step into a new energy where it’s clear that they’re beginning to trust their choices in ways they hadn’t before or in a long time.

Sabrina: How can therapists and mental health professionals incorporate intuition development principles into their practice?

Kat: I feel as though these exercises are amazing ways to help people tap into their subconscious & release trapped emotions.

Sabrina: What is the number one thing you want the reader to know about intuition development, especially if they are recovering from trauma?

Kat: Your intuition is an extension of you, the more you heal the easier it’ll become to tap into it. Even if you’re someone who is just ready to deep dive into their gifts, with every level comes a new layer.
Sabrina: Do you have any special offerings available for clients?

Kat: Yes, I host workshops & have a few courses available. Sometimes I even do free events. My most popular course is my four week Unraveling program which will be relaunching in April.
