Guidance Mala (Meditation Beads)
Allow this mala to be your reminder to root to rise and tune into your inner guidance.
Handknotted 90 times and reiki infused featuring:
A grade African Turquoise
A grade faceted Obsidian
AA grade Snowflake Jasper
AAA grade Smoky Quartz
A grade Bronzite
A grade Blue Druzy Butterly Pendant
While the tradition of Mala beads is rooted in a sacred count of 108, this piece is a contemporary iteration hand-knotted with 90 beads. I have designed this strand to serve as a versatile, tactile tool for those seeking a steady anchor for their daily grounding and meditation practice. It is intended to honor the spirit of the Mala as a rhythmic counterpoint to breath and intention, in a form that fits the movement of a modern life.
Chakras: Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Throat, 3rd Eye
How to Use Your Guidance Mala
This 90-knot mala is designed as a functional, tactile tool for your daily meditation practice. Because it is hand-knotted and features a variety of natural stones, it provides a rhythmic physical sequence to help you find your footing and stay present.
Somatic Grounding: Hold a single bead between your thumb and middle finger. Take one full, intentional breath, then move to the next bead. The distinct textures of the faceted Obsidian, Snowflake Jasper, and Bronzite serve as sensory anchors to help you remain in your body when you feel overstimulated or disconnected.
Rhythmic Focus (Japa): Traditionally, malas are used to track the repetition of a mantra or intention. Use the knots as physical markers for a self-compassion practice or a moment of tuning into your inner guidance. With each bead, you might offer a mantra or grounding phrase to yourself, allowing the movement of your hand to pace your internal dialogue. Example: I am rooted in my truth.
Mindful Anchor: Wear the mala or hold it in your lap during meditation. Allow the weight of the African Turquoise and the Blue Druzy Butterfly to act as a gentle physical reminder to soften your shoulders and return to a steady, even breath.
Disclaimer: As an LCSW, Reiki Master, and Yoga Teacher, I offer these handcrafted Reiki-infused tools as a separate wellness resource. While these items are designed with an understanding of somatic grounding, please note that choosing to purchase an item is entirely optional and is not a requirement of, or a substitute for, our clinical work together nor a replacement for clinical, medical, or mental health advice or treatment. The use of crystals, herbs, and Reiki is for spiritual and ritual purposes only and does not guarantee specific psychological or physical outcomes. My goal is to provide these as an independent resource for your personal practice, however that looks for you.
