Root Chakra ❤️ 4/17 @ 12 PM Eastern - Community, Chakras, & Crafts Collective (For Therapists)
The Experience
This is a dedicated hour for clinicians to step out of the "therapist chair" and into a space of personal grounding. We are focusing on Muladhara (the Root Chakra), the foundation of our security, survival, and belonging.
Settle In: We’ll open with a brief, focused meditation to drop into the body and activate the energy of the Root. We work with the chakra system as a tool for stability, honoring its sacred origins and lineage of spiritual and physical alignment.
Create & Connect: For the rest of the hour, we’ll work on the Root Chakra symbol together. This is a "BYO-Supplies" session—whether you’re embroidering, drawing, or painting, the goal is the rhythmic, somatic regulation that comes with making something.
Talk Throughout: This isn’t a silent retreat. We’ll keep the floor open for low-pressure conversation, building community with other therapists while our hands are busy.
Logistics
Professional Space: This workshop is exclusively for Licensed Clinicians and Graduate Students in the mental health field.
Cost:Completely free to join. If you find the space valuable and want to "buy us a matcha," there’s an option to do so (but it’s entirely optional.)
The Vibe: This is a low-pressure, "come as you are" space. Grab a cozy blanket, your favorite beverage, and feel free to let your pets join us too!
Hosts: Led by Edith Caballero and Sabrina Cruz. We are both LCSWs, Reiki-trained, and Yoga Teachers who believe in the power of community.
BYO Supplies: Bring your own embroidery hoop, sketchbook, or paints.
Template: A Root Chakra symbol template will be provided via email before we meet if you'd like a guide for your project.
The Full Journey
The Root is just the beginning. This is the first of a seven-part series exploring the full energetic system. Keep an eye out for our upcoming workshops as we move through the remaining six chakras, layering our clinical practice with somatic and spiritual wisdom.
Sign up below to join! You’ll receive a Google Calendar invite with the Zoom link!
